The girls and I recently went shopping at Kmart for some stylish and affordable back to school clothing. My oldest daughter recently turned 13 and is in that in-between stage of girls and women’s clothing. She has very specific opinions at what she likes and is in fashion for a middle school girl. I am happy to say that we found a whole outfit that she loved.
Her first choice was the Route 66 Girl’s Open Knit Cardigan. This is a great open knit cardigan by Route 66. She loves the waterfall hem and the comfy, slouchy fit. This will match many items in her closet.
Under that she layered the Route 66 Girl’s Lace-Trim T-Shirt. It has an on trend plaid high-low hem and pretty lace trim. The Route 66 Girl’s Colored Denim Jeggings give a pop of fun color to the outfit.
She also chose the Joe Boxer Girl’s Lola Black Casual Slip-On Shoe. These are super cute and comfy. I wish they came in women’s sizes! They have geometric cutouts, which are arranged in a floral pattern. They slip on for easy wear and can be worn with or without socks.
.
Overall, we were impressed with the many cute an on-trend options Kmart offered. Plus each piece was very affordable. No piece in her outfit was more than $20!
Kmart has great looks for elementary aged girls as well! Be sure to check out the outfit my younger daughter styled and we purchased from Kmart here.
