choose your own adventure book

When I was a child I loved the Choose Your Own Adventure books. They had been out of print but are now recently being re-released. I love that in each book after 3 or 4 pages the reader faces two or three options, each of which leads to more options and then to one of about 40 endings. I am so happy my daughter is going to have a chance to read the same type of books I loved as a child.

frito lay choose your own adventure display

I was excited to hear that Frito-Lay Variety Packs is partnering with the Choose Your Own Adventure during the back to school period. During this promotion, families will be able to purchase Frito-Lay Variety Packs that will have a code on the packaging to download three original digital Choose Your Own Adventure books online. That’s right, you heard me… when you buy a Variety pack you get a FREE digital book. How cool is that?! Just look for the display pictured above at your grocery store. On the back of each pack will be the code to enter for your FREE digital book.

Frito Lay Choose Your own Adventure code

The Frito- Lay variety packs are my go to snack when I am the snack mom for soccer games. Now that both girls will be playing soccer I will be picking up a few packs and that means a few free books!

The folks at Frito Lay have been generous enough to offer my readers a $25 gift card and a boxed set of Choose Your Own Adventure books.

So how do you enter?

  • Leave a comment whether you read Choose Your Own Adventure Books as a child or have you heard of them.

Everyone must complete the required entry question. All bonus entries are optional. You will receive one (1) additional entry for each completed bonus entry with comment. Bonus entries will be confirmed before a winner is selected and announced.

You can get extra entries by:

  • Liking Bargain Shopper Mom on Facebook
  • Post on Facebook a link to this post. You can use the “Share the Knowledge” link at end of post
  • Following Bargain Shopper Mom on Twitter
  • Signing up for Bargain Shopper Mom Email updates
  • Tweeting about this giveaway – I just entered to win a $25 gift card and CYOA books via @bargainshopmom #giveaway http://goo.gl/JoZKA (You can tweet once per day as an additional entry)

Just leave an extra comment for each as an entry. i.e “I am a fan on Facebook.” and/or “I get your e-mail updates.” You are eligible if you are a new fan/reader or a longtime fan/reader. Be sure to leave each a separate comment. Remember each comment equals one entry. Only comments on the blog will count as entries not comments on Facebook or Twitter. This contest will be open until Monday, July 25 at 11:59 p.m EST. Winner will be chosen randomly. Only United States residents may enter this giveaway.
