So we are pretty excited about Halloween here at the Bargain Shopper Family. I happened to hit Target last year when costumes were marked down 90% off after Halloween. I found this great Alice in Wonderland costume and a White Rabbit Dog costume. The total for both costumes was less than $8!!! This was cause for family theme this year. Once the girls found out they could coordinate with the dog, they were in!
I did have to pick up a Queen of Hearts costume for my oldest daughter. I bought it at Target online with a $5 off $50 Target.com coupon. It didn’t cost $50 but I threw in a few shirts for myself and then I got the $5 off and FREE shipping. I consider this a win since I got some cute shirts which were an additional 20% off and I didn’t have to fight the crowds to get the costume.
The dog isn’t all that excited about the costume but with a little bribery she even posed for pictures. In the picture above you can even see her pocket watch. Love that!
So do you have a family Halloween theme this year? Does your family pet get their own costume? Let me know in the comments….

OMG the dog!!! Love the theme!

Thanks Tracy. The dog even went trick or treating. She didn’t keep the rabbit ears on well though. I figured anyone who throws a bday party for cats would appreciate a dog in costume. 🙂

Thanks Galit! I have trying for a theme for years but the girls would not go for it. The dog costume made all the difference. LOL
