I love to go out to eat but I hate to wait for a table. Doesn’t everyone? Outback Steakhouse recently did a survey asking consumers about their typical wait time at restaurants across the country and found that, on average, Americans have waited nearly 40 minutes to be seated at a restaurant. This is more time than it takes to cook and eat an entire meal!
With the busy holiday season and especially if you bring your kids, waiting for a table can be a real pain. Recently my family visited Outback Steakhouse and used their Click Thru Seating service on Outback.com to access to wait time information and add our name to the wait list before we arrived.
When we arrived, we were seated within 5 minutes! I think we got a few looks from other people waiting wondering how we get seated so quickly. I didn’t have time to tell all of them how we did it but I wanted to share this time saving trick with you!
Click Thru Seating service on Outback.com informs you od the urrent wait time at your local Outback Steakhouse restaurant and you then can add your name to the wait list or for a later time. Please keep in mind this is NOT a reservation. You are not guaranteed to be seated at the time you select. You are simply being added to the wait list. However, unless the restaurant is extremely busy you should be seated fairly quickly.
To find an Outback Steakhouse location near you visit www.Outback.com. You can also find them on social media – Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
So next time you are hungry and don’t want to wait and wait for a table at a restaurant, give Click Thru Seating service on Outback.com a try. My girls are begging to go back. They love the loaf of bread you get before dinner. They eat almost at a whole loaf themselves.
