Blue Easter Egg Hot Chocolate Bombs
What I love about these hot chocolate bombs for Easter is that they really do look like Easter Eggs. They’re festive and fun and then they release all that goodness into your cup and keep that smile on your face for quite some time.
I’m so happy that cocoa bombs have become such a huge trend because I love them so much. It makes me happy knowing that we now have a reason to drink hot chocolate all year long.
Ingredients needed to make Easter Egg Hot Chocolate Bombs
All you need are the following ingredients and supplies below to get started.

- 8 T of hot cocoa
- 1/4 cup of mini marshmallows

Once you’ve gathered up all your supplies, it’s time to get started! The full directions for this recipe can be found below.
How do you use Hot Chocolate Bombs?
Once you’re completed with making them, just put one into the bottom of your mug. All you then have to do is pour 6 ounces of hot milk over the top. Once you do, this will melt away the outer layer of chocolate, releasing the ingredients that are on the inside. This just means that you have to stir, and that’s it.
Can you use water instead of hot milk?
You can but I find that the milk is going to give the drink a richer and more creamy taste and texture. Water is fine as well, though as it really does just depend on what you prefer.
How do you store hot chocolate bombs?
Once you make them, you’re going to want to savor and save them! As long as you keep them stored in room temperature conditions, you should be fine and have no issues at all. I recommend having them in a container with a lid, too so that they stay as fresh as possible for as long as possible.
Do you need to keep them in the fridge?
You don’t. They’re fine to be on your counter or in the pantry. You just want to avoid them getting too hot for fear of them melting.
