Lots of cute outfits for middle school from Abercrombie kids
This post is brought to you by Abercrombie Kids. While this was a sponsored opportunity, all content and opinions expressed here are my own. I have been shopping at Abercrombie kids for years and love it.
Middle School can be overwhelming. This is especially true if you are starting a brand new school. My youngest daughter is moving from a tiny international school in Germany where she had just 48 kids her grade to a large public school in Michigan. To say it will be a big change is an understatement. New school clothes can help kids feel more confident though. My youngest daughter loves to shop and find cute outfits for middle school. I love high-quality clothes that mix and match and we found both at Abercrombie Kids. We put together a few outfits for middle school that are comfy and stylish.
The first item we were looking for was a great pair of jeans. Everyone needs some great jeans for back to school and Abercrombie kids have a bunch of choices for style and fit. My oldest daughter always chose the super skinny and they fit her perfectly but my youngest decided the girlfriend style was for her. The relaxed fit was just her style and she loved the distressing. You can check out her exact ripped girlfriend jeans here. These jeans are a great first building block for mix and match outfits.
You can check out all the jeans for girls and jeans for boys here. You can get denim in a wide range of sizes from 3/4 to 15/16. They even have sweatpant stretch jeans for boys which look like jeans but feel like sweatpants. Who wouldn’t love that?! They also have pull-on jean leggings for girls with an elastic waist which are super easy to throw on. My girls both went through a serious leggings phase where it was all they would wear and these would have been perfect.
The weather can really vary for back to school so we found some tops to layer that not only look stylish but are practical too. We first picked out the icon v-neck tee in white dot and paired it with the ripped girlfriend jeans and layered the burgundy plaid button-up shirt. Both shirts are super soft and comfy which is perfect for her laid-back style. Plus the pattern mixing gives it more style.
If it is cool in the morning before school, she can wear the plaid button-up shirt and then once it warms up just tie it around her waist. Layers like these are a great addition to any mix and match wardrobe. Both shirts can also be worn on their own which means these pieces can make even more outfits!
If it is chilly in an air-conditioned library or school, it is also great to have that top layer to throw on.
She also loved the colored stripes on this everyday tee. The stripes give it a pop of color on the crisp white shirt. Again, we have paired it with the ripped girlfriend jeans but honestly, any pair of Abercrombie kids jeans would look great. It is more about finding the right fit that your child will love.
This outfit is great for everything from hanging out with friends, going to school, to walking the dog.
My daughter loves all these pieces that make cute outfits for middle school. I know that they will help her look and feel great for heading to her new school. We also checked out these super cute overalls that matched perfectly with the v-neck tee in white dot. These are on our list to add to her wardrobe. They looked great on her and are right on trend for middle school. Now that we have the start of a great back to school wardrobe, we just need to get all the school supplies. It never ends…. right?!
Be sure to check out everything from Abercrombie kids here. I hope you find something that you and your kids love too!
