Creating your own custom DIY Free Graduation Coloring Pages, using your graduate’s photos is both fun and easy! There are a variety of AI programs out there and using AI to create custom coloring pages is fun and free. You can use the AI program of your choice to upload your graduate’s photo and give the program a few simple instructions to create your own coloring page. These coloring pages would be fun to put out on tables at a graduation party or you could use the image to create a unique handmade card.

DIY Graduation Coloring Pages

I love easy custom projects like this and these DIY Graduation Coloring Pages are simple to make and would make a fun and unique activity at your graduation party! You can use your favorite AI program (I used the free Chat GPT) to upload your own photo and give it a few instructions to create a great coloring page. After it creates your coloring page, you simply download it and I used Microsoft word and inserted the photo and adjusted it on my 8.5 x 11 Page and added a “frame” in Microsoft word to give my coloring page a finished appearance. You could also use Canva or another design program to add a frame.

AI Prompt (use this to prompt your AI program to create your coloring page):

Create a black and white vector style coloring page from the attached image. Use bold, clean outlines with no shading. Simplify the overall illustration for coloring, but retain distinct facial features like the shape of the eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, and jawline to keep the subject clearly recognizable. Include subtle linework to suggest expression and personality without overcomplicating the design. Use a plain white background and add festive elements such as stars, balloons, and confetti around the subject to enhance the celebratory mood. At the top of the page, include the phrase “Congrats Grad” in a bold, playful font that’s easy and fun to color in.

Instructions

First open your favorite AI program. I used ChatGPT and I had to be logged in to my free account to be able to upload a photo. I simply uploaded my graduate’s photo and use the above prompt to let the program know what I wanted it to do. You can cut and paste the prompt above or you can also play around with the prompt to get the results that you want (each page will be unique!). For example, you can tell them to put the text in a different spot on the page or to remove the balloons or include something else. The AI prompt above is a great starting point to get creative.

Once you create your image in the AI program, use the download button to download it to your computer. Then, open a new Microsoft word document and insert the photo into your document. You can play around with the margins, photo’s size and position. In Microsoft word, select my photo and I used the “Picture Format” in to choose a the double frame to go around my coloring page to give it a finished look. You can also use another program to design and print your coloring page. Then I can simply print my coloring pages using white paper and my home printer.
