Supplies for DIY Temporary Tattoos
- Silhouette Temporary Tattoo Paper
- A Home Printer
- Silhouette Cameo or Cricut Machine
First, open your cutting machine software and set your document up for 8.5×11 and design for “Print and Cut” within your Silhouette Studio Software or Cricut Design Space, only placing the images within the space allowed for print and cut.
Then mirror your tattoo images, in the software (as if you are looking at the text or image in a mirror).
Place the Silhouette Tattoo Paper in your home printer, printing on the glossy side and print from your software.
Apply the protective sheet onto the printed sheet of tattoos to protect the tattoos as they go through the cutting machine, removing any bubbles. Then follow the directions from your cutting machine to cut the printed image. Be sure you have the cut settings to cut around the image’s outer edge or contour. You don’t want to cut the inside of the tattoo. If you are using a Silhouette, there is a cut setting for temporary tattoo paper in the software. If you are using a Cricut, the posterboard setting works best.
