It’s hard to keep up with young boys and their interests at this age and I have to say we learned our lesson with all of the big plastic toys. I look high and low with toys that offer the most play value and that will last the test of time. There are a few of the most “popular” toys on this list, but there are also lots of things you may have never seen before. We try and choose out highly-reviewed items for our top toys lists so you get the most for your money.

Once they’ve mastered the basics, convert the trainer to pop-up pitch, and balls will automatically pop-up, one after another, for rookies to hit. And for the young ‘pro’, the trainer automatically pitches three balls from up to 10 feet away! Let’s play ball!

Can we please dispense with this “gifts for boys” and “gifts for girls” crap? I see nothing on this list that requires male genitalia to be enjoyed. In fact, every single one of my nieces would have loved these toys when they were in that age range, and I think my daughter will too when she’s just a little bigger. Lists like these just perpetuate the belief that a toy must be pink or purple to be marketed to girls.
Melissa says
I agree that many girls would love these toys. We write them like this because that is how people search. My girls actually have the stomp rockets and love them.
